It’s been said time and time again, that as you age (grow wiser), birds take on a whole new meaning - in that they become more and more interesting. While I’m not so fond of using binoculars with my glasses to view the birds far away, picking up the camera has become second-nature as I make it a point to observe the world outside my front door every day.
I recently found out that my uncle once had a pet crow, just as I had been thinking of ways to befriend the beautiful black and grey corvids myself. When my Mom, who was around three years old at the time, got lost in the cornfield, her brother sent out the crow to find her.
