I am hopeful that humans will wake up in the next ten years - that nature is more important and healing than technology, that herbs & energy are better than conventional medicine, that a lot of what we humans, (corporations and private people) have done to her is detrimental, to say the least. I don't want to see insects and other species going extinct, for at some point, humans would follow. But I believe in us, that by 2035 the Earth can be the best it has ever been since people came about. Or at least on the mend. Of course this means a big change in the way we think and live, yet I know we can do it. It simply takes people starting to love the Earth again, learning about, and protecting her.
Exactly! Once we start falling in love with the Earth again, that's when things will shift in a positive direction. It's incredibly beautiful outside today, a great day for gardening!
Just letting you know that my parrot listened to your northern hemisphere birdsong very attentively. 😊 And just like you, I want to be hopeful for 2035 and in many ways I'm seeing a shift already where people are connecting more with nature again. But on the other hand I'm also seeing a lot of things that aren't making me feel very hopeful. Let's just hope the good will prevail.
That's one of the (few) things I love about the internet - that your parrot can listen to birdsong in Romania. How cool is that?!
Not necessarily hoping - but seeing - that good does prevail. It may take some time for Earth to repair herself from the damage inflicted from a thousand wounds, but heal she always does. It all starts with us.
Yes, trying to look too far into the future can be confusing, misleading, or downright depressing. Smaller, more manageable tasks suit us better, especially when we know we'll be around to see the results. After 10 years we can all be happy when we've planted a fruit tree!

Thank you for this wondrous post!! 💚💚💚

As the world falls apart... The best thing we can do is be outside, garden, and celebrate the warm weather. Thanks for this post!

Beautiful tribute to nature, I like looking ahead to 10 years, it feels we can do something rather than worrying about 50/100 years. 🌱🌻
