I enjoyed reading this :-) Spring is beautiful here in Yorkshire right now. The garden is filled with birdsong, birds are gathering nesting materials and looking for nesting sites. All the trees and shrubs are leafing up, and blossom is everywhere. Plus we have all the lovely spring flowers providing lots of colour. March was temperamental however, one day it was blue skies and sunshine, the next frost, rain and mud. But now April has arrived it feels magical.
Looks, I mean sounds, :-) (you just told the story so vividly) amazing! I can imagine how wonderful your spring is. I remember, when we lived in England many moons ago, how windy the spring was. Thank you for your thoughtful comment!!
There's quite a bit of wind here now, for the last 5 days we have been smoked out at certain times of the day, of our house (we use a wood-burning fireplace) from that North-Western wind!
We have an aspen tree in our front yard. A couple of weeks ago when it warmed up, the buds swelled and some of them opened into fuzzy catkins. But only on one side of the tree, an extremely localized test of spring.
Such beautiful images of spring 🌼🌱 enjoy 😊
Thank you!

Yes there's quite a bit of wind involved too! 🌿😊

Ah yes! I know what you mean. We have a woodburning stove too. At least the smell of woodsmoke is nice I guess? 😊
It is very nice! Except for when it fills the room.
Agreed!
