What I loved most about all these steps was their purity and authenticity. Even those that involved other people had the simple action-reaction of an event in nature.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Sarah! Something which I strive to convey in my writing and in my life is authenticity, for it is one of (maybe the most) high vibration emotions there is. And I try to involve nature, in one form or another, into everything in my life... I am so thankful that you noticed this, since the Earth plays such a big role in my life - and it obviously does in your life, too. 💚
Thank you, Sophie! It is amazing to trade, and I believe that everyone can do it, in whatever little way. Those puppies were very cute, unfortunately none of them were adopted, so if you want a Romanian shepherd pup, they'll be more than happy to send it to you in NZ! 😉 Thanks for commenting!
I envy and enjoy hearing about your enchanted lifestyle.
I walk often but did take a hike last week that became an adventure.
After all of the rain we've had here I decided to drive down the road apiece to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and visit Raymondskill Falls and the trails in eastern most Pennsylvania, along the Delaware River.
I started out at the falls which were raging and there was much spray dampening the viewing areas. I proceeded upstream on the creekside trail heading towards Hackers Falls about a mile and a half away. Just before reaching the falls there was a section of cascading, raging creek that required my attention. I carefully approached the roiling waters and stepped off a rock ledge onto wet slickrock. I slipped and fell. Luckily, I landed on the ledge and not the slickrock. I sprained my wrist, my knee, and my pride. I lost one of my trekking poles to the swift water. Thankful that I didn't fall in I continued my hike to the cliff section of the trail. At the precipice, the void called to me but I did not accept its invitation and limped to my car about 2 miles down the trail.
My injuries were mild and worth the cost of the adventure.
What an adventure you had! I'm so sorry to hear about your injuries, that sounds terrible. Delaware is really beautiful and I hope to go there someday.
I also sustained an injury yesterday evening, though in a far less adventurous context: for after the huge storm in the evening I was going to walk around the deck to peek around the corner to see the water rushing down the road (it looked like a river) but I stepped a very wrong way and hurt my foot. Very painfully.
My ankle is still healing but my pride, like yours, is heavily injured - though you have nothing to feel bad about, because any hiker can get hurt on perilous rocks, especially when they are wet. I didn't have to limp 2 miles, thankfully, only into the house... I'll have to mostly sit indoors today and brood over my accident.
I hope you are feeling better & am thankful that you plan to continue hiking, it's the best way to spend time outdoors, if you ask me. Thank you so much for reading my post and leaving such a lovely comment!

this sounds like such a lovely day, I love how you trade some of your goods for other things that you want/need. And those puppies are just adorable!!

Oooh that's a shame. Hopefully they find their humans soon. We've got our hands full with our little parrot already 😁
