What if I asked AI to make a picture of a haystack lightly covered in frost?
Would it look anything like this?

I read an interesting article the other day and I suggest, dear reader, that you set eyes on it too. Especially if you are an artist, writer, creator, or human who cares about the future. I would assume this would encompass everyone, but somehow, I don’t think the message is entirely clear.

Since the beginning of this year I’ve noticed AI images sneaking and creeping into my social media feeds, on a more and more frequent basis, which by now is every day. At first they were glaringly obvious, but this far into the year, they are becoming better. To the unassuming eye - and now ear (listen to the fake podcast in the above article!) - it all looks like great food and fantastic fun, lots of laughs and/or beautiful things to look at.
But here’s the thing: it’s fake. Every pixel of it.
