The height of fall, before the fall of leaves.
Photos are not enough to express the colors, you really have to get outside and thank them in person.
I believe this autumn is as colorful as it can get. Which, by all means, is much more vibrant than most.




At the same time last year, the leaves on the trees were barely hanging on, without much of a color change at all. Not this time. This fall is different. And it’s not just the leaves. The pumpkins are in on it too.
Instead of boasting a brilliant orange, they are mottled with green. Not completely mature even though they were planted in time, but with frost on the way, that’s how they will be. Maybe it will add to their quiet and spooky charm? We’ll just have to see.
