The first frost has arrived...
a little later than usual, but this year has been anything but predictable.
Nature photo of the day: first frost of the the year on a clay tile roof.
outside it is silent and cold except for some rustlings of nature and the crackle of frosty grass under my feet as i glance back i see how the roof is clad in a sprinkling of frost glinting in the morning sunlight in the house the stove is starving for a log of beech and i can still smell a scent of baked duck from an early morning breakfast and coffee brewed over the fire some holiday music is playing a disoriented bird hits the window flying away dazed after a sip of hot ginger tea i head outdoors again to take some photos the sun is now higher in the sky as the frost melts away yet i know it will be back in a twinkling of the eye with another dazzling performance - Csermely
